This module looks at how to research relevant imagery and put it into a mood board format.

This stage really reinforces the importance of personal tastes and influence in the creative process.

MODULE 4:

Analytical Sketching 

The most misunderstood part of the creative process!

This step explores how to use your research to start the sketching process.

From mood boards to sketching, how to explore form before turning it into jewellery.

MODULE 5:

Design Stage

From form to wearability.

Where analytical drawing looks at more abstract drawing, the design stage takes the research and starts connecting the element of scale and function, in the form of jewellery.

MODULE 6:

Editing & Final Designs

How to edit.

An essential skill to create a concise and cohesive body of work.

This is key to working to a brief, be it a bespoke commission or full collection.
