Dream of becoming an artist?
Traditional gouache illustration is an art form that is rooted in history within the jewellery industry. The archives of the oldest jewellery houses are filled with designs rendered in gouache, using techniques we learn today.
However, it has contemporary relevance with the same jewellery houses still using gouache for their high jewellery design work. Equally, it is a hugely valuable tool for young designers to bring their work to life without the cost of outlaying on expensive raw materials.
It is also, simply, a mesmerising and relaxing art form that you can lose yourself in for the sheer enjoyment!
